Program Staff

Top-quality golf instruction is provide by more than forty dedicated golf instructors who are carefully screened and then trained in the philosophies and teaching methods established for the LPGA Urban Youth Golf Program. Our instructors include LPGA and PGA certified professionals and other individuals within the community who have a strong knowledge of the game and a desire to work with children.

Program Volunteers

More than one hundred community members volunteer their time and expertise to work with the juniors or assist with administrative responsibilities. Volunteers serve as site coordinators, instructors assistants, and mentors.

Our Mentoring Program matches our juniors' personal profiles with our volunteers' profiles to determine the best fit. The mentor spends at least one hour per week with is/her junior golfer. The Mentoring Project has been successful in improving the juniors' golf skills, social skills and their desire to succeed.
